2005年6月16日，山东省植物检疫站常兆芝站长在青岛市植保站王学武副站长，山东省植物检疫站杨勤民博士的陪同下，到位于青岛市的山东省种子总公司进出口分公司检查指导工作，并冒酷暑到青岛市城阳区上马镇大棚区进行实地疫情检查。并对进出口分公司的工作给予了高度的评价。在城阳检查完工作后，省种子总公司领导邵长勇同志，总经理助理、总办主任、粮油种子公司经理梁凤臣同志从烟台返回时在青岛与常站长一行进行了会面。
