为了搭建科研成果与市场开发之间合作的公共性和公益性平台，并探索民间知识产权保护方法，2009年9月10日，北京种子协会实施了“农作物种子（种苗）交易和品种权保护平台建设”工程，举办了玉米转让品种田间考察活动，并组织召开了“种子交易和品种权保护平台建设玉米转让品种座谈会”。山东省种子有限公司副总经理梁凤臣，公司总经理助理、市场营销八部部长孔繁涛参加了会议。
